Message from Alumni Relations

Dear Penn Club of Beijing Members,

On my recent visit to China I was inspired and so proud to learn about all the good work you are doing in Beijing to keep Penn Alumni connected to their alma mater. The Club is well organized, energetic and impressive in the array of activities being offered to alumni in the region.

Your efforts to keep the Penn experience alive in China are tremendously important to Penn as China becomes a place where more and more Penn alumni live and work. In addition, with the wealth of faculty presence in the country as well as our recently renewed partnership with Tsinghua University, China is more than ever before an integral part of PennĄ¯s academic programs.

Your efforts as alumni volunteers are deeply appreciated. As people on the ground in Beijing every day, we are almost completely reliant on our alumni volunteers to make your city a vibrant and active Penn place ¨C and you have done it. Thank you for building the Penn Club of Beijing into the successful and engaging organization it is today.

I wish you every continued success.

Yours in Red and Blue,

F. Hoopes Wampler
Assistant Vice President, Alumni Relations
